In our Menswear Dialogue Series we introduced you to Gagliardi of the Bortex Group and the family history they have accumulated in Malta. Here, we present a few our favorite pieces from their current Fall/winter collection.
$369 ~ Not to be confused with your grandmother's patchwork quilt. This jacket provides warmth and comfort mixed with streamlined tailoring. The patch pockets are markedly causal and the Europeans like a shorter cut.
$95 ~ No "Canadian tuxedos" please. A denim button down shirt is a staple that can be worn weekend in and weekend out. In a trim and darted fit this is how to stay polished in denim without looking like a ranch hand.
$108 ~Washed, meaning really soft. These will wear in over time and will earn their patina.
$19 ~Most pocket squares are silk. With a casual weekend outfit like this its best to go with a heartier wool option.
$40 ~You may not "need no stinking badges" (to quote Blazing Saddles), but you'll need a scarf when the temperature drops. Although cashmere is the more expensive and comfy way to go, wool comes in a close second.
