Seiko Astron GPS Solar Watch

Japanese watchmaker, Seiko recently launched a series of timepieces under the Astron GPS label.  The Seiko Astron is a marvel of timekeeping. Using a global database of GPS satellites the Seiko Astron is able to calculate the time zone and date of any location on the civilized planet. Slimmer, smaller and lighter than previous Seiko chronographs, a titanium bracelet allows the watch to be worn comfortably for the business of the day no matter what time zone you're in.

Powered by all types of light, the Seiko Astron is completely self-sustaining an does not require batteries, now or ever. To top it off the watch is equipped with a perpetual calendar which will mark the months accurately through Feb 2100 without heading leap years. We spent a day with the watch and enjoyed light reading with The Rake and a cup of tea at Mockingbird Hill. Take a look at the Seiko Astron GPS in action. #AstronElite
