Last week we had the pleasure of co-hosting The Selected Few Gathering of Style with our partner and friend from A Distinctive Taste.  The Selected Fewbegan as an idea to bring DC's style setters, taste makers, and menswear connoisseurs together under one roof in an an intimate and comfortable environment where men--and some beautiful women--could enjoy a night of clothing and style. We partnered with our colleagues Hendricks Park to curate a complete wardrobe from some of the highest quality brands in the industry along with some brands which may not be known in mainstream audiences.  The show featured cashmere, leather, and fur outwear from Schneiders and Gimos, blazers from Zaharoff, trousers from Santorelli, denim from Agave, cashmere sweaters from Kinross, belts from Fullom & Holt, socks from Pantherella, shirts from Eton, Ted Baker, and Zachary Prell, and last but not least wool and chambray ties from our good friends at General Knot. Some of DC's most respected menswear addicts were in attendance as well as those who just appreciate a nice tie and a drink.  The event also attracted out of towner's from NYC who were interested in seeing what's going in the world of DC style.  The tie-making duo of Marshall Anthony found  their way down from the Big Apple and we were pleased to meet these young stylish businessmen.  We will post more about them soon. The gathering was praised by visitors and guests alike.  This event was the first of its kind in DC and The Selected Few is primed to grow into a movement never seen before in the area.  We plan to continue hosting The Selected Few in DC and abroad while partnering with classic, modern, and most importantly quality menswear brands to bring our audience an experience they have never seen before.  We want to thank everyone for their support and kind words and we look forward to having you at the next show.
